A Cosmopolitan Journey
Join us for an eclectic program featuring composers from Russia, Germany, France and Austria. Our tribute to Beethoven continues with a performance by Julliard graduate Elyane Laussade of his third piano concerto, alternately brooding and exciting. Coppelia is Leo Dellibes’ best-loved ballet about a doll that comes to life and this suite features the best known music from the ballet. Evocative pictures of Russia from Mussorgsky and Borodin, and a stirring Viennese march by Strauss complete the concert.
